Atuheire Brian
DirectorAtuheire Brian has 8 years’ experience in environmental/biodiversity conservation and climate change decision making. Throughout the 8 years, he has built extensive experience. In 2016 Brian Co-founded a youth led organisations the African Initiative for Food security and Environment where he is Executive Director. African Initiative on Food Security and Environment (AIFE-Uganda) is a nonprofit organization in Uganda established to deal with the environmental/Biodiversity conservation and climate change mitigations and adaptation.
Muhairwe Edgar Tushabe
Director of Programs and CommunicationsMuhairwe Edgar Tushabe is a Strategic Communications expert. He has been in the Communications and Journalism field for a period of five years now after his graduation from Makerere University in 2016. Currently, he is also the Managing Director of Vanguard News Uganda, a pro-democracy, pro-environment news and communications organization. Tushabe's pro-people convictions led him to envision a food secure world, free from the menacing effects of climate change. In early 2016, he shared his vision with this his bosom friend and professional ethnobotanist Brian Atuheire Batenda, and the African Initiative on Food security and Environment was birthed.

IT ManagerBigirwa Julius Holds a bachelors degree in Library and Information Science from Makerere University. Julius also bears extensive knowledge in digital communications - specializing in multimedia (graphics and video) development. He also bears knowledge in web development, database management and systems analysis and development.
